[Forum] You don't have permission to access /forums/editpost.php on this server

I know you have an answer to this problem here and here.

This problem happens when I edit a message in advanced mode with four links and I'm trying to save the change.

This is a link to a exemple in my forum with a message i have the problem.

This is a fourth link to test if I have the same problem in your forum. I do the test with this message and i dont have the problem.

I tried the first solution and the problem still occurs. I will try the second solution.

My questions are to be able to apply this second solution:

How to access modsec2 to add the line?

I followed the standard installation of vBulletin so should I change "/admincp" by something else and if so by what?

    N.B.: I am french.

    Shalom !

it's either a mod_security or suhosin issue and you should talk to your host about it. To make sure check you maintenance section in Admin CP -> diagnostics -> problematic server issues

I check with Modules problematic web servers. Third from the end. This is the problematic server issues ?

This is the result when i submit it :
      Suhosin
      active module ---- No

      mod_security
Unicode problem related to the duties AJAX ---- No

I have to be sure of what with this result ?

In my first message, i try to now how to applicate this solution here but you not respond to this demand. You think this solution is not appropriate to me ?

I contact my host about this problem and he think the problem is vBulletin.

N.B.: My version of vBulletin is 4.2.0 PL 2

      Shalom !

That doesn't check for mod_security2 which is more common now. Ask your host about those modules and see if they are active at all.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

What is the name of those modules ?

How i check if they are active ? Me or my host have to do that ?

N.B.: Is it possible to accurately answer my questions before answering anything that seems useful

I mean ask them about mod_security2 or ask them if they have any other sort of security modules installed. Show them the error and ask them for help. It is a server error, not a vbulletin error.
