    [Forum] Album images won't upload

I've recently upgraded my forums from vB3 to vB4. Immediately there was a problem with the album images, they all disappeared. Fortunately, there were not many. However, upon trying to re-upload them I've hit a problem. No image that I try to upload shows up in the asset manager or in the album, just a piece of text in it's place. The image properties show a size of 0x0.

I've tried changing the attachment uploader, I've checked the path and I've chmodded the file path to 777, but still nothing. One thing I've noticed is that when viewing the asset manager, some of the attachments that have been uploaded elsewhere only show half of the image, or not at all:

No matter which image format I try, this is all that shows, it's very frustrating.

Are you storing your images in the database or the filesystem?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Try going to Maintenance > Diagnostics > Upload. What are the results of that upload test?

          These are the results:

          file_uploads: On
          open_basedir: None
          safe_mode: Off
          upload_tmp_dir: None
          upload_max_filesize: 10.00 MB

I should just mention it's just the albums that have this problem, I can upload attachments elsewhere with no issues.

For showing half of the image problem try to rebuild you attachment thumbnails from general update tools in maintenance section.

im having a similar issue. When uploading to an album, it goes through the motion, but I get little red circles with an ! in the center and it does not finish...
