Update Profile ( member.php ) Mysql Error: 1054

this error just started happening, so I re-uploaded member.php to the forums and Im still getting this error:

Database error in vBulletin 2.2.8:
Invalid SQL: UPDATE userfield SET userid=1,field1='',field2='',field3='',field4='' WHERE userid=1
mysql error: Unknown column 'field1' in 'field list'
mysql error number: 1054

And I dont know why its giving : http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/forums/forums/member.php as the location of member.php yet Referer is correct


What does this error mean?

This is happening when I just hit teh Update Profile button whether I change anything or not. But, when I do and get this error, a Look into the database for that option I did change shows up as changed. ( ie this happened when I changed my signature , got the error, looked in the database and saw that the signature was indeed changed)

The double 'forums' is just an artifact of the error. You can ignore it.

Assuming you really did upload and overwrite the member.php on your server, then this may be a problem with the database. Try running this query:

REPAIR TABLE userfield;
