    Database error, need help fast.

mysql error: Can't find file: './forums/template.frm' (errno: 13)

Getting this error after a server reboot, nothing was changed in the database and we installed a newer stats program and this suddenly happened.

error number 13 is a permission error, has the permissions on the templates.frm file changed?

its stored in your mysql data directory the folder name being the database name naturally.

      Error code 13: Permission denied

Also why's it looking for template.frm in your forums directory? That's not the normal location for MySQL database files.

My database has suddenly vanished, apparently causing this problem.

How do you know it's vanished. Have you checked the mysql database directory for these files?

Yes, SQL has vanished from the server, phpMyAdmin is still there and all of my other server files are also. There was an error when uploading the database that showed up, but the forum was working perfectly since yesterday and faster than ever. The error was:

PMA Database ... not OK[ Documentation ]
              General relation features Disabled

An unknown host, and I'm being blamed for it essentially, and he's saying that all he can think of is that PMA Database error caused it, which I find hard to believe.

By unknown, I meant a small company, we lease a server of our own through them.

The database is restored now by the way, I need to figure out what this PMA error is though to make sure that didn't cause the problems, and I have no clue what it is.
