You will need to view the source of the error page and copy and paste that here, or copy and paste the email you (should have) received that also contains the error. That message is just vB's nice way of telling you there's an error.

Try that step again -- that's a very small template and that shouldn't happen.

            Just noticed.......this

There is not file named install1.php in the vbsc3 zip. All i see is install.php and that is the file that gave me the initial error. Is this the correct file name?

              I did.....but.....

It just returned the same error. Infact my email box is flooded with me trying to rerun tha step#3.

SIDE NOTE: My KEYWORD search has been down since I upgraded to vbc2. It was working before I did that upgrade and now this is erroring out? Can this be releated?
              What do ya think?

I don't know what to say -- I've seen that error before but it only happened on the faq pages. You already inserted templates larger than that one without a problem...

Run myisamchk (or isamchk if it's an ISAM table) or repair.php on the template table.

Your template file is corrupt. myisamchk and isamchk are the tools to repair them. I assume you are using MYI.

                              Take mysql down
Go to your mysql data directory
                              myisamchk -r forum/*.MYI
                              restart mysql

However, recent versions of mysql should allow you to type "repair table template". Try that first.
