I'm thinking of renting a dedicated server, but won't need all the space or bandwidth... anyone interested in a possible share?
Spec is:
P3 1GHz processor
512MB RAM
2x 30GB HD
Bandwidth is 15GB included... a bit low, but with the vB compression, we've never had a prob!
Server is located in UK with a pretty reliable and helpful company (I've dealt with them for 4 years). Tech support is 24hrs, which is nice
It's £200 ($300) setup and £300 ($450) per month (both split in half if we share). It's also quite cheap to go for a faster server if your site is large... can also be upgraded easily if needed in the future.
