Glowing Text

How do i add this to my BBCode list in VB3? Could someone help?

Go to your:

Admin CP -> Custom BB Codes -> Add New BB Code

And create the BB code shown in the attached image.

Do you have to add a new one for each color that you want to have glow?

In the above case, yes because the option is already being used for the strength.

If you want to be able to use multiple colors within one BB code then use the {option} for the color attribute and hard-code the strength instead.

I did exactly as shown and it works great. But the glow part is red not yellow? Also the number [glow=4] in this case 4 doesn't appear to do anything.

Did you set Use {option} to Yes?

I copied this code from a board on which I am an admin. One of the other admins created this BB code but I he's gone now. If you are having trouble with the glow code then you might try searching google.com for help.

Thanks Jake, I spelled yellow wrong, now it works perfect.
