    Avatars in Categories not displaying in user cp

    I can upload avatars into categories fine, I can view them in the user cp. But when I go to the admin cp, I see the drop down with the category names, and it will display "displaying avatars 1 to 9 of 9" or whatever, but it will not show the actual avatar images. I've tested in in my admin account and also in a registered member account.

    - all avatar categories permissions are set to yes for all user groups
    - avatars enabled? is set to yes in vb options
    - it will display my custom avatar in the usercp (or it will display the registered member's avatar if I set it via the admincp)
    - I've tried it with "Can Upload Custom Avatars" set to both yes and no for registered members and admins.

    Anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks

    Oh - this is a clean install of Beta 7

    Edit: Users are able to select an avatar in the registration process.

        I think that the profile.php file is not calling the revised template names. I took the renamed templates

        avatarlist => help_avatars
        avatarlist_avatar => help_avatars_avatar
        avatarlist_category => help_avatars_category
        avatarlist_row => help_avatars_row

        and created copies of the new templates and named them with the old names, and now my categories are working properly.

          Seems that you need to change all instances of avatarlist_row to help_avatars_row in profile.php

                      Thank you for that fix, last night was racking my brain tying to figure out why I couldn't see them on the avatar page. My co-admin and I spent hours trying to get it fixed and we both gave up.

                      Today I found this page and I'm so thankful.

                          dumb user here. So if I find the profile.php from the zip, do I just make the changes, then upload via ftp the profile.php again overwriting the other? do I need to turn the board off, or delete the other profile.php or anything else?

                          thank you.

                            No just over write it, if you use notepad to edit the file you can use the find and replace feature to do the job rather than search for each one...

                            And thanks another staisfied bunny here
