Hi folks. I had no idea where to get help on this, but I figured that a large number of you would be Admins on clubs and societies forums, and you may be able to point me in the right direction.
I'm a new committee member of a marine aquarium club. With the upcoming release of Finding Nemo (in Australia) we're expecting a lot of new members, and we don't know exactly how to cope. We're a small society, with a lot of older and conservative members (i'm 29 - part of the 'new breed') who like their club exactly as it is.
What I would really like is a "manual" or a guide on running a club, that deals with common problems faced by clubs, especially as they grow and become more successful. Issues we have to deal with are publising our newsletter, finding venues for club meetings, keeping older members and younger members happy etc.
Can anyone point me to any resources?
Thanks in advance!
