Is it possible to have a picture as your forum background (like where the purple is on this forums main index) instead of a color?
Background?

I put #095EA3 " background="images/back.jpg" in the Category Strip Background Color, and it did not work.

You need to change it there, and in the <BODY> tag option."63,000 bugs in the code, 63,000 bugs, you get 1 whacked with a service pack, now there's 63,005 bugs in the code."
"Before you critisize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you critisize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes."

How big should it be? I'm not quite sure if I make it 10x10 and it repeats all over it, or what. Also, what about this <body> tag?

Ah, never noticed you were talking about the category strip bg color. Nevermind about the <BODY> thing."63,000 bugs in the code, 63,000 bugs, you get 1 whacked with a service pack, now there's 63,005 bugs in the code."

I read your post, I just don't know how big I am supposed to make the image I want as a background.

after the body bit ok and yes for a repeating bg use a 10x10 or even a 5x5 image if you can fit your design on itComment

Under modify styles I put it in the Body Tag line, didn't work, put it in the cat. strip color and body tag line at once and it didn't work, tried just the cat. tag and it didn't work.

Go to your headinclude template.
find < style type="text/css" >
where it says BODY {
add the following:
background: #000000 url('http://yourdomain/path to images/name of image') no-repeat;
#000000 is the hex value for black so change that to what ever colour you want.
no-repeat means it won't tile the image.
you can also add fixed before the ; if you want the image to stay in one place.Comment
