Does anyone know if they were smart and made is mod_perl compliant. I mean using PERL on a large site like mine without mod_perl would be nuts.

    Hopefully its is.

I still see nothing great about it after lurking at the board so vBulletin v2.0 provdes its power and greaterness.

Was that a smirk at mod_perl or did you mean that mod_perl will be added to its feature list?

Yes, we have been waiting to see for a year now (being a licensed UBB holder and a former UBB admin)! I guess now I can wait a few more months to see since I would never use it again after using VB anyways!

Have you seen the VB2.0 beta? I don't think UBB will have anything to show us.

i bet the alpha is less buggy than their finished release.. just kidding but do they even have private messaging as a standard feature?

it would be weird if infopop starts adding features after the beta.

Maybe they are saving all the new features in later v.60 versions in order to keep customers waiting and renew their lincences.

Infopop think too much of money and release versions that are rubbish.
No kidding! It's like every couple of months and there's some SERIOUS security vulnerability. It's almost as if they code them in on purpose! I sure hope not, but if they are, damn that's evil!

                            Well, there it is.

Well I am wondering if I am correct.
There is an job going at infopop if one of us gets it then we will find out if Ted gets upto his evil tricks.

all I can say is that when I am cussing at my computer cause my forums are in one of their slow spurts I get every few days for ten minutes or so - they are still running faster than that was. I thougth it was 2002 after waiting for a few pages to load.
