How do I set the statusicons against each forum in forumhome to be shown only for members?

So you don't want users first time visiting the site to see the statusicons?

Yes I don't want guests to see that forums are old or new, they are guests anyway and I think they should not bother whether they have been reading this or that forum.
I uploaded statusicons which clearly says "Old" and when I visit my website I can see old old old against each forum which I don't like.
Am not sure if visitors will see the same
Does that depend on the IP address? I cleaned the browsers cache and still I see Old Old Old!

I figured it out

I just renamed /images/statusicon/forum_old.gif and _new.gif to anything else

And viola! no more status icons in forumhome

So your members won't see the statusicons, too, and you produce lot's of 404-errors on your server. Seems like a somewhat suboptimal solution to me.
