    vBulletin 4.0 Development Updates

We have hit some important development milestones, so it's time for a quick update.

As I noted in my last announcement, our two major remaining tasks before we begin alpha testing are to complete conversion of the templates and to implement what we feel are some important new features to release with the CMS.

As of this afternoon, a little more than half of the templates are alpha-ready, and about 80% of the remaining ones have had the basic translation done and are ready to be integrated.

With regard to the new CMS features we're adding for the 4.0 release, those are also coming along well, and we're quite proud of the feature set that will ship with the first release. Don will publish a blog post soon with an excellent overview of its capabilities.
