How to make Threads and Posts totals private?

Can I ask for some help please.

The majority of our site is private, but the Index still shows the totals of Threads and Posts.
How do we make those private so guests see something like 'private' in those boxes rather than the Thread and Posts figures, we do not wish guests to be privy of private area activities at all.

Thank you in advance for any help.

There is a setting for that:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Forum Listings Display Options -> Show Private Forums

You can also override this setting for individual forums:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Show Private Forum

Thanks for the reply Jake, I've already tried those, oddly they didn't hide the Thread and Post totals, we've simply hidden the private sectors entirely, not the solution we were looking for mind but as all else has failed this is our only option really.
      Thanks anyway

Edit Forum > Show Private Forum > Yes - Hide post counts didn't work for you?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

That would hide the count globally though?

He wants to hide the stats on the forumhome anyways I believe?

Something like this should work http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showp...43&postcount=2

Note that it goes by forum permissions. If you have access to a forum then it won't hide the counts.
