    Question about tables / columns

    Hey!

With http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=141218 and http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ighlight=table in mind, I was wondering: is there a proper way to get two colums?

Because when you use no code at all, you will get the problem that vBulletin ignores the spaces / tabs.
When using HTML tables, you have to put it all after each other, which is horrible to read if you have a lot. And you can't make proper BB codes from HTML..

So anyway got a solution for this?

The only way at this time would be to modify the code.

p.s. Textpad can do regular expression searches and search for EOL codes to replace them.

Ok, but this isn't such a special thing is it? I mean, is there a a special reason vBulletin doesn't pay attention to it, or is it just something nobody asks?

What's EOL codes? Cause I'm using Notepad++ and HTML-Kit but I don't see that word?

        EOL means End of Line.

The issue is caused because each and every time you hit return, it is converted to a <br /> when the post is stored to save the formatting that user intended without requiring them to use HTML. When you use HTML, it breaks. There is no solution at this time and one of the reasons why we recommend not using direct HTML in posts. The issue shows in posts with tables because the syntax of the coding is broken.
