Nice thread, although it's not really official unless it's made by vB staff, or endorsed by vB staff, which they won't do as it's to do with mods.

apologies for thread name... it has been renamed but I was really hoping that the MODS would sticky this... This thread aint just about promoting "MODS"... as i stated to a MOD in a PM... Alot of ppl have had bad luck with VB.org products... and properly supported software that provides the integration out of the box is preferred... but ppl just don't know where to find them... The list above does have some products that require mods but the support is great and not just done by a flyby the pants developer...

To be honest though, when you say products out the box. I'm presuming you mean products like SubDreamer and vBadvanced, and the others mentioned here etc.

Well, they still has there own little problems also. No 3rd party product is perfect unfortunately, and you can see this if you head over to each one's support forums and read some technical posts on each site were people still post bugs about these products being intergrated with vBulletin. The same way, people post bugs on vB.org about hacks there.

All I'm trying to say is: Don't think there perfect, theirs always a bug to be found.
