    Set default template

    Hi,

I've created a new template and edited it.

Now how do i set this new template to show as default for all users and not allow them to change to any other template?

I cant seem to find where to set it!

    Thanks!

Go to the admin cp > styles & templates > style manager > uncheck the old styles, and make sure the new style is checked, then click on the button [save display order]

now go to the Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Styles & languages settings > and set the default style to this new style.

      Save changes.

Your members will now not be able to view the hidden styles, and can only see the visible styles, and default to the one set as default.

It means you didn't complete the upgrade.
Make sure all the files are 100% from vBulletin
And run the upgrade.php script again until you end up in your admincp.

Make a backup first of course of the database

                    Hello Floris

I am not having success as detailed above in making "unregistered" users see the my "new" style.

My new site is www.ExoCars.net. The one items that are missing are the banners ads on the right. Any suggestions?

                    Karlo

Again, make sure the style is set as [x] style name
So it's checked and therefor visible, click the store order button to store this change.

Refreshing the style manager should show it checked.

Once this is done, set it as the default style and set ' users can change style' to no.

A guest should now see it, if not. then something's wrong with the vb install - you';re best off starting a ticket then.
