Move the member information who posted thread from top to left on forum pages?

The default forum display for individual threads has the poster's information on the top followed by the contents of their post below it.

I've seen numerous forums where the the information about the member (name, user rank, join date, online status etc) who posted the thread is shown to the left instead of the top.

How can I make this change for 3.6.7?

This is an option in the Admin CP:

Admin CP -> vBulletion Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template -> Yes
