Moving forums to a different directory?

When I created my forums, I put them at www.mysite.com/forums thinking I'd have a main page. However I don't think my site will have a main page anytime soon. So I'd like to move my site to www.mysite.com. What's the best way to go about doing this?

Go into your AdminCP and change the homeurl and boardurl to your new location (yoursite.com).

AdminCP - vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details -> Forum URL & Homepage URL

Using your FTP client, select and drag all the forum files and folders from the /forum folder up to your domain root.
