    Halo 3 Legendary Edition

They been pre-selling Halo 3 for a couple of weeks or so.. I rather play the game first before I would make a purchase, but did not know how popular it would get. If this does get release later this year I would be hard set to find one to buy. I know I would not be purchasing 'Halo 3 Legendary Edition' for $150+ CND and might buy the collectors box version $70+ CND.

I heard that 'Halo 3' already has 2.7 million pre-sold... I hope they do not misled fans on content like 'Halo 2', they left out one super large battle ice map... I played my friends 'Halo 2 Beta' and it has the huge ice map. I will be playing my friends 'Halo 3 Beta' and see if they leave any maps out for the final product.

Halo and Halo 2 are both famous for missing huge amounts of content in order to make the release date Microsoft had set for it. One of the Halo 2 developers has even spoke out on how he refuses to play Halo 2 because it's so much worse than what it was supposed to be.

Apparently Halo 3 is supposed to be the one where they were finally given time by Microsoft to make the game what Bungie wanted it to be. Let's only hope.

As for a PS3 release, no chance. Bungie is owned by Microsoft. A PC release would be a possibility, but definitely not another console.

You should re-read some comments about that...

Anyway, I've actually reserved all three version of the game (Legendary, Limited, and Standard).
Congratulations on the death of vBulletin, Internet Brands.

that sucks.. I still own a xbox and most likly will not be getting a 360. So if it doesn't come out for xbox, then I'll just have to borrow a 360 to play it.

Of course it'll never come out for the original Xbox for two main reasons: Halo has always been used to sell Xboxs (and in this case, the Xbox 360), and the hardware requirements barely suit the Xbox 360 as it is.

Just my opinion, but the people paying $130 for a $60 (even that's ridiculous) game are insane. I enjoyed Halo and Halo 2, but neither was worth $130, even if they threw in Master Chief's head.

My wife bought me Halo when she got me an XBOX for Yule a few years ago. It was recommended by the sales clerk. It still sits on the shelf in its original shrinkwrap.

Just not a big fan of FPS style games. I might.. Maybe I'll take it in and get a few bucks credit towards something else.
