Hiding a subforum?

How do I hide a sub forum from the main forumdisplay page? Also is there anyway to disable a forum from posting on the last post on the forumdisplay page? thanks

Admincp >> Vbulletin Options >> Forum Listings Display Options >> Depth of Forums - Forum Display << Set that to '0'

That will take it off the FORUMDISPLAY Page.......

or as in a forum in a category?

Do you mean the forum home page, or the forum display page? ie, is the page URL index.php or forumdisplay.php?

Hi I meant the forumdisplay.php page. Im trying to remove a particular subforum from showing up in that page. Thanks

Ok, nice and easy one this

In your forumhome_forumbit_level1_post template, at the very start of the template before anything else, put

<if condition="$forum[forumid]!=x">

replace x with the forumid number for the forum that you wish to hide. Then at the very end of the template after everything else put

</if>

You also need to do the same thing to forumhome_forumbit_level2_post.

What conditional did you add or better yet post both your templates that Kerry-Anne ask you to place conditional statements around.

You do have to replace 'X' with forum indentification number to make it work thou.
