I'm getting so many f'ing spammers that it's driving me insane. I would love ANY advice on anything I can do to make some difference in preventing them from registering and spamming my site.
I've got the registration so that they have to activate their account which hopefully helps a bit by making it more of a pain to post, but many still are doing it and it's driving me nuts.
I never had this problem before, but as my site got bigger, so did the number of spammers.
I did not activate "Aggressive Email Banning" but have entered into the Ban By Email field the ends of some of their addresses to prevent more logins from the same site. (In other words, I have "@topvideogals.com" and "@yourmedserver.info") entered, so maybe that will help some.
