Multiquote/Quick Reply Activation Not Working

Well it works in general, however in this particular thread it isn't working. I changed styles to make sure it wasn't a style issue and it isn't.

Tested in IE6

I tried 4 recent threads in that forum and those two features don't work in any of them. Is this problem still only in that one thread for you?

The style would have been my first guess, but you say you already tried a default style. What about plugins and file hacks? Also try the original clientscript directory.

Turned off all plugins and this is all stock files. No change.

Hmm...created a new clean style and it works...odd.

I still suspect the style, or maybe the clientscript files. If it doesn't work with everything default then we will need to take a look (trouble ticket).

clientscript file ? wheres that... mine is style related.

clientscript is the name of a directory inside of your forum directory.

Okay I've narrowed the code down to this set of custom code I inserted into the postbit, HOWEVER I don't understand why this is causing the multiquote and quick reply activation to die on that particular page.

I also think its in my postbit legacy for I added a mod/hack to show a google adsense ad after the first post.

Going to take out test and Ill post my findings.

Yea, that's the same for me...ad code for ads to appear underneath the first and second to the last post of each page.

Yup! Was in my postbitlegacy. Reverted and everything is fine now. Guess the mod/hack cant be placed in the same spot. Hmm..
