Why has vBulletin charged 17.5% on £91 now?

As an UK-based company, in accordance with European Union tax regulations,we're required to charge VAT.

No, as that would lower our actual price.
Also, a big part of our customers are from countries outside the EU, so they're not affected by this.

There was a transitional period that ended at the beginning of this month with the VAT price being included in vBulletin. Sorry you missed out.

We already bought licence, so this is not the issue, anyway, what if I would give you wrong country info? For usa for example, then I wouldn't need to pay your VAT.

Well if the information doesn't match the country we'll simply reject your payment assuming its fraudulent.

You can't blame vb for this, only the EU, if it were based outside the EU you would still have to pay a bloody import tax on it. Grrrr.
