    Adding banners in posts not working

    HTML is enabled, I add the following code

    <a href="http://www.CaribbeanSunPoker.com/ind...7022&PID=10411">
    <img src="<A href="http://www.focalclick.com/cgi-bin/focalimage.exe?227022&10411"></a">http://www.focalclick.com/cgi-bin/focalimage.exe?227022&10411"></a>

    and the banner does not show.

    After adding the code the post shows this :

    http://www.CaribbeanSunPoker.com/ind...7022&PID=10411">
    >

    Whats odd is this does not always happen, i have other forums above this one with similar htlm banner code and they work fine.

    Why does it underline the links when i cut and paste from my old forum ?

    I also get the same when i try to add this code :

    <a href="http://banner.cdpoker.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?holis">
    <img src="<A href="http://freerolls.drawdead.com/img/dd468x60.gif"></a">http://freerolls.drawdead.com/img/dd468x60.gif"></a>

    when i save the post this is what shows

    http://banner.cdpoker.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?holis">
    >

    This is the last hurdle till i go live with the conversion, please assist.

    Im going nuts !

      Ok this is really odd, maybe its a forum setting.

      The banner in this forum works fine :

      If you live in a small home, you probably struggle with ways to keep all of the things that you want to keep. Learn how a storage unit can help.

      When i copy that banner code and try to appy it to this forum it doesnt work:

      If you live in a small home, you probably struggle with ways to keep all of the things that you want to keep. Learn how a storage unit can help.

      I also tried to make a new post in this forum and its not working.

        I really really really recommend you disable HTML posting, its only intended for internal sites where you have complete control over what is being posted. You can achieve what you ask via bbcode.

        [url="http://www.32redpoker.com/?BTag=32RedPBanAff4131"][img]http://www.32red.com/banners/images/08_05_Poker1_468x60.gif[/img][/url]

        The reason its messing up is that auto parse URL's is enabled so you end up with double nesting.
