    merging imported_user into user

    Hi

Isn't there a SQL query or some other trick to be used in order to merge imported_user into user for all users in the database?

I just installed a new vBulletin based on a previous phpBB2 forum and am still fighting this imported_users issue (there are about 1000 such imported_users) so manual work is out of the question.

When I installed (it's not the first try, be sure of it) vB new, I took care to check Yes to "Would you like to associated imported users with existing users if the email address matches?"

    Thanks!

You shoul not have this problem with a new install since you should only have had one user. The 'imported_' is only added when you have an existing user with the same name but different email address.

This can only happen if the user module crashes or is re-run after the import id's are removed.

I would suggest re-installing vBulletin to ensure that there is only the admin user.
