posts are not restored. ( no error msg's ! )

Dear vBulletin Support and advanced users,

    I have a forum. www.pooja.nl
    it was running on punBB

I installed on a new server vBulletin and run ImpEx build version : 1.45
It all looked very well when i was doing the update:

But, when i went to the new site (temp url)

you can see it imported the members but thats it I think.
No posts, no threads and I could not find anything about the MODS

please advice what to do as my complete community is on hold now

    kind regards,

    Faisj

I can see the threads and posts now. But, I can't find the prive msges, moderators...

Also, as you can see it not showing all the threads.
      ( just 11 or 7 threads on a forum )

Please wait at least 12 hours before bumping your posts.

          From the forum rules:
The updated community rules can always be found at: http://www.vbulletin.com/go/forumrules

Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.
The lastest version of Impex is 1.46. I suggest uploading the latest version, clearing out the imported data and redoing this import.

            Hi Steve,

Sorry about the bump. But I bumping my head right now
I downloaded 1.45 . not that long ago... is this a known bug?

How can I clear the imported data?
            and,
Can I use the old config file?

            kind regards,

            Faisj

Ps. the strange part of this all is ... that i think the import worked as i see the
correct number of posts and threads everywhere.
But, when you click on a fora:

            For example here: http://www.evibes8.nl/www.pooja.nl/forumdisplay.php?f=5
you can only see: 11 threads

            while here: http://www.evibes8.nl/www.pooja.nl/index.php
you can see there are: 361 threads

That's because you have that forum set to only view threads from 'last month'. Changing it to the beginning shows all of them.

In the Forum Manager set the Default View Age to 'Show All Threads'.

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Default View Age -> Show All Threads

Or to update them all at once, run this query (assuming no table prefix is being used):

              UPDATE forum SET daysprune=-1;

After running that query, update the forum counters:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Rebuild Forum Information

I do have a table prefix:
                vb_

what would then be the query?

Will the pvt msges then also appear?

                  UPDATE vb_forum SET daysprune=-1;

The PMs are a different matter. Frankly I suggest reporting this as a Bug here:

I think it kind of worked.
I can see the posts now (the pages)

but, some posts are gone: for example: http://www.evibes8.nl/www.pooja.nl/showthread.php?t=596

I wanted to submit the bug but at: Bug Type it does not show

It's up to you whether you want to open your forums. If the import is satisfactory, then yes. If not, then no.

If you don't want to fololow my sugggestion and redo the import with the latest files, then the only option left is a Bug Report. Just use Impex - Core.

The PM issue may very well be a bug since it has been reported nefore. Hence the suggestion to post a bug report.

As for one or more missing posts, I don't know what to do about this other than to suggest redoing the import with the latest files. If that's not acceptable then you can add this to your Bug report.

I changed my DNS so pooja.nl will redirect to the right URL.
SO the board can go live again.

But yust now i asked a moderator to take a look and log in.
she tried but she got that her password is incorrect!!!

                              vBulletin works with MD5 right?
What could have gone wrong and better yet... what should i do...
