phpBB - VB , data in tables but not showing in forum

I just installed and upgraded from phpbb 2.0.17 to vb 3.5.4.. The import appears to have gone exactly as it should.. The forums are in the forum table, threads in the thread table etc.. But when I go to the forum itself all I see is the Main forum area from the original install..

My guess is that I missed something obvious and simple, but I have no clue what that may be..

you need to do update counters...
Do them properly for users, thread and post that willl be enough..
I have one problem Im not able to see where all the imported users have gone and not able to import user groups from phpbb??
