    impex problem

I'm using build 1.45 that I just downloaded. It doesn't give me the option to select source. It goes right to phpBB2.

    What could be happening?

It says using "/includes/config.php for target config" for some reason.

I'd start by reuploading all of the impex files again, except, only upload the one importer folder that you need. eg if you need IPB 2 only upload the ipb2 folder

I did that previously Zachery but got an error saying it couldn't find phpBB2... so I uploaded all the system folders. However, it seems to bypass the option to select system.

It seems like you might have started the import process by acident. Click on the cleanup and restart.

Hmm. I see. I imported from phpBB2 about a year and a half ago and I don't remember running cleanup after I finished the live import. Could it be reading the old importIDs now and that is why it automatically goes to the phpBB2 import?

Yes, you should backup before you begin.

You'll need to cleanout the old ids (but keep the data).

Also, I only have the option to import into 3.5.4 but I'm running 3.5.1. Do I have to upgrade before running the import?

It would be in your best intrests to upgrade tot he latest version before running impex.

I'm on a test board at the moment and running test imports. My board is heavily modded so upgrading would be very time consuming. I realize it would be in my best interest but is it necessary?

You have the old session in the database and haven't finalised the last import.
                      I wrote ImpEx.
