    New Server

Ok well i got vBulletin installed and ready to go on the new server. inside the control panel of vbulletin on the old site, i ran a backup and saved it on my computer for the new servers. in phpmyadmin i hit "export" and it gave me 10 mb worth of text. I assumed it was everything i needed for for the new mysqladmin so i saved it on my computer. Why can i not just import from the back up i made from vBulletin?

I don't know how to import this stuff now...little bit lost.

This is a server move? If so, you just need to import that backup into a database on the new server, and make sure the includes/config.php file on the new server points to that database. Ideally you should do the backup and restore of the database using shell access... PHP backup scripts like phpmyadmin and the Admin CP can produce incomplete backups.

in phpmyadmin, I would recommend selecting GZIP at the bottom so you get an actual download.
