Hi All,
I have a vBulletin site hosted on a shared server and everything runs fine. I wanted to do some testing of features etc... so setup a test box in the office with WinXP, Apache 1.3.3, MySQL 4.1.16, PHP 4.3.10 (versions selected to as closely match my hosting service as possible).
On this test box the forum runs fine, expect the scheduled tasks don't run. I never did a "install" of vBulletin, only copied the files over from the hosted box.
I tried running the upgrade script ( forums\install\upgrade.php ) in case that would help. But no change.
What do I need to do to get the scheduled tasks running? do I need to do a fresh install and then restore from backup to the database? If a install is required, is it safe to do this against the populated database or does it need a blank database.
