I think the style is 'temporary' to celebrate the 3.5 release. I will poke the graphic developer once more to look into it.

            vBulletin Classic Style

I've been using the vBulletin Classic while browsing the forums here for awhile now and I just noticed it's missing quite a few images.

It's been mentioned a few times already. Last I heard they were going to get around to it eventually.
Congratulations on the death of vBulletin, Internet Brands.

Just a suggestion I started doing myself recently for the sites I visit.

since vB.com has a images.vb.com for 90% of its images.

I've got a local server where I've put most of these.

So I edtied my hosts file to point images.vb.com to an internal ip, and thus all of my images are served to me near instantly on my internal 100mbit network

What Zachery uses is a patch and a lot of extra work to get all the images stored correctly, etc.

I've made a suggestion a while ago to ditch the temporary style or fix the images, once the devs have the time they will surely follow up on it.

I quite happen to like the Classic Style; I surely hope it will stay. Wouldn't it be simpler just to fix the images? Wouldn't take too long.

Yeah, why is it taking so long?
I mean, how long does it take to fix a couple of images?

                          Quillz,

Please send in a support ticket with the request to Kier. Someone will assign it to Kier and once he has time to work on this he will give it a follow up. Please also link back in that ticket to this thread.

Creepshow: It takes so long because it has a low priority over software research & development.
