    ERROR - import data from SMF 1.x version,

    Hi

    this is Dhanak.net administrator,

    I got ERROR when i try to import data from SMF 1.x version,

    before this problem, i got (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs3...iew&bugid=1466) a error when i installing VBullitien forum (languages section) but now this problem is OK and my foourm is working fine.

    now when i try to import data i got error...

    ImpEx Database errormysql error: Link-ID == false, connect failed
    mysql error:
    mysql error number: 0
    Date: Monday 28th of November 2005 05:01:39 PM


    please review this problem & resolve this issue ..

    You probelm is your username/password database permissions in your ImpExConfig file.
    I wrote ImpEx.

      Data Importing ERROR

      well now i have configure my impexconfig.php file.. its works.

      after complition first module .. second module give me the error below

      ImpEx Database errormysql error: Invalid SQL:
      SELECT ID_MEMBER, memberName
      FROM smf_members
      ORDER BY ID_MEMBER
      LIMIT 0,25
      mysql error:
      mysql error number: 0
      Date: Friday 02nd of December 2005 11:08:06 AM

      *************** ERROR ***************


      Please resolve this issue ..

        That is vaild SQL, strange.

        What version of MySQL are you using and on what OS ?
        I wrote ImpEx.

          Data Base Version And OS

          I'm using lycos.co.uk web hosting service

          MySQL version: 4.0.18

          PHP version: 4.3.9


          Please resolve this as soon as you can

            FYI, Lycos is a notoriously bad host. The fact that they are still runniing a version of PHP with a signifficant security hole confirms this.

            It's entirely possible they have disabled some PHP functions required for vB. Enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.

            Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled

              No Change in Error

              I have change this option..

              when i try again to import data from SMF that same error appeared


              ImpEx Database errormysql error: Invalid SQL:
