    Converting from Invisionfree

Hello, Could you please tell me how to convert my board from invisonfree to vBulletin, or a link posted that explains it. I just want to make sure I can do this properly before purchasing the liscense!

You will need to have IPB provide you with a backup of your database. I believe there is a small fee for that of about $20. Then its just a matter of restoring it to your server and following hte ipb 1.3 import process.

I didn't think Invision was giving people copies of their InvisionFree forum backups.

Hmmm I never used invision free but I heard that you could buy the backup. I guess they got annoyed with people upgrading to vbulletin. =p

Dont ask for a backup, they will get mad at you for moving, and then they delete your forum. Sorry, but you just will need to start from scratch.

I somehow doubt they'd delete it.
