    Forumdisplay problem

    Since upgrading to 3.5 from RC3, if I try to display any forum in IE I get this error message:
    PHP Code:
    Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://.../forumdisplay.php,f=2, Operation Aborted 
    Everything works fine in FF or Opera. Any thoughts?

      The first thing I recommend is that you reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

      Next, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

          Hey Steve,
          I have reverted the forumdisplay template, then I add in the following (top category table) code. It all works fine in FF and Opera, but then if I select just a category in IE, not forum or sub-forum, thats when I get the above error...maybe you can identify the problem in what I'm adding

                              I had the same problem, but when I set the forum style to original as standard ( VBulletin style ), no errors occured, this version 3.5 is not compatible with 3.0.x styles

                                  Many templates have been siginficantly changed from 3.0. to 3.5.0. Therefore you will need to revert any customized templates and redo your changes.
