    Who are "Active Members?"

    In 3.5.0, there is a new little statistic added to the What's Going On? box called "Active Members." For this board, it's listed at just over 8,000. What exactly determines an active member?

      Ah, I see. I don't run 3.5.0, so I wasn't sure. What is the default cut-off? Just an hour?

        I believe the default is '30' days.

        Members Time Cut-Off
        Enter a number of days here that represents a threshold for 'active' members. If a user has visited the board within the past number of days you specify, they are considered 'active'.

        Enter '0' to treat all members as 'active'.

              go to scheduled tasks and run the hourly stats thingy..
              if you dont want to do that just wait and your vbulletin will run it when it is scheduled to run

                Default seams to be 0 since mine is that too.

                  I have Active Members set to 180 days - but my forum stats still aren't displaying Active Members at the bottom of my forum home. (It's not zero - it's just not there at all).

                  I've run the daily stats task manually - still nothing.

                  How can I get that added to my visible Forum Statistics like vbulletin has?

                  (yes I've done the 3.5 upgrade)

                    Mine is set at 180 days, and I prune inactive members at around 200 days

                      Did you revert your ForumHome template?

                        I thought maybe an image would help. As you can see - I have no "Active Members" in my stats. And mine is set to 180 days in my Forum home .

                        yes - reverted all my templates before the upgrade - I also just did a check for changed templates and forumhome is not listed as one that is changed.

                          If you edit your FORUMHOME template, does it have this code in it?
                          Code:
                          			<div>
                          				$vbphrase[threads]: $totalthreads,
                          				$vbphrase[posts]: $totalposts,
                          				$vbphrase[members]: $numbermembers<if condition="$show['activemembers']">,
                          					<span title="<phrase 1="$vboptions[activememberdays]">$vbphrase[within_the_last_x_days]</phrase>">$vbphrase[active_members]: $activemembers</span>
                          				</if>
                          			</div>
                          And in:

                          AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Forums Home Page Options->Active Members Options do you have the option Checked?

                            Thank you -

                            Yes - I did have the checkbox checked - but

                            No - my forumhome template did not have that code. Strange how it didn't show up as a customized template - but regardless - when I went directly into it and compared the default to what was already there - there it was.

                            Made the necessary change - it's now working and displaying

                            Many thanks!
