            1. You're running Apache 2. Try this. Create a .htaccess file in root of forum public directory andplace the following in it:

            AcceptPathInfo On

            2. You are running an insecure version of PHP that puts your server and forums at risk. I strongly recommend that you upgrade to at least PHP 4.3.11 as soon as possibble.

Yeah I already had that in there.

I read your post and tried that first.

              What else can I try.

I will upgrade the php now.

Thank God I foundthis thread. Finally got my Archive working at www.xlforum.net . The .htaccess file worked for me. Now can someone tell me what this line in the .htaccess fiel actually does that fixes this problem?

You have your htaccess settings turned off then, its a stock setting in apache2.

It turns a feature that was on always in apache 1 and was not able to be disabled.
