phpBB -> vB mod_rewrite old threadid

    Hello,

I'm migrating a phpBB forum to vBulletin and I'd like to know a
way to redirect my old forum urls to the new one.

Is there a variable that I can use? Like oldthreadid

    For example:
    from

    to
    http://example.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?oldthreadid=1211

    Thanks.

Maybe Jerry got a solution for you, but i think it would be near impossible without making code modifications. The problem is that on an Import Threads will get a new threadid.

This is internal link parsing, a solution was beta'ed though withdrawn as it needs more work.

As long as you don't removed the import id's it will be able to be run retrospectively.

Thanks. I've just put phpBB as read-only. When the users try to login or reply to an old thread, they are redirected to a specific post in the new vBulletin forum.
