Set [img] to align=left or right???

How do I set the align in the img bbcode to left or right instead of texttop?
I know I can add a custom code but is there any way to fix the img bbcode or does it have an option?
    Thanks in advance.

This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Is there any reason that the alignment was not an option or that texttop was chosen? This seems to really be the worst choice for message layout waisting vast amounts of space. Thanks for the reply.

            No it doesn't.

Go into ACP --> Custom BB Codes --> Add New BB Code
            • Title = Image with alignment
            • Tag = img2
            • Replacement =
              Code:
              [left]<img src="{param}" [color=#000000]align="{option}" border="0" hspace="6" vspace="3" alt=""/>[/color][/left]
            • Example = [IMG2]URL of image[/IMG2]
            • Description = This tag allows you to align an image to the right of left of your text.
            • Use {option} = Yes
            • Button Image (optional) = {your choice....}
This method requires no code changes and allows you to specify the alignment (left, right, top, or bottom).

Even added an image to use.. This is the method I use. When you use the Advanced editor you click the image and in the popup place right, left, top or bottom.

I beg to differ. The question was about modifying the [img] code which does requires modifying the code. Of course creating a new bbcode is another option.

And I did say without creating a custom BBcode. Just seems strange to pick texttop Instead of left or right. Oh well I guess the developer was sleeping on that one. Thanks anyway.
