    Random errors?

I just recently got a series of emails about database errors. Nothing is wrong with my forum, or so it seems.
I'm also running it with vBadvanced CMPS v1.0.1

Here are a few random errors what was sent to me via email

    This error means that either:

    1) The db info in your config.php file is wrong (in which case your forums won't work at all.)

    2) That user doesn't have permission to access the database listed in config.php.

    3) The database doesn't exist.

    4) MySQL isn't accepting new connections. (The server could either be down or has reached it's maximum connections limit.)

If you are sure your config.php info is correct, then you will need to contact your host about this.

Note, many servers are being probed for the phpBB worm these days and the MySQL server is being overloaded. This could account for these errors.

Could this mean that someone is trying to hack into the site? I just received this error message 415 times in the last 7 minutes.

Or that MySQL is not accepting connections. You need to ask your host to check into this.

I don't think it's hackers it's like Steve said - your users can not connect to the database.
Have you made any changes in config.php, changed database name or password etc ?

No changes what so ever. The IP for each login attempt was the same as well.
