But it's not that great compared to Zachery's Halloween style.

Maybe if it had more vibrant colors, it might be better. The colors you're using doesn't really mix well.

You can't compare the two skins, they are very different to each other. For one thing they're two different holiday seasons; Halloween and Christmas. How different is that? Santa dressed in a Satan suit maybe?

Another thing is that Zachery's only changed the logo and the colors, whilst that stands out, it isn't much. Dean's changed a lot about the default vB style. Colors, header, layout, images.

I just changed the background to much darker. Do you think it looks any better this way?

Yes, I like the darker color...maybe a few more small splahes of red to tone down the green a bit.

That's a tad better, like what Dark said. Add a little more red to tone down the green. That's a tad too much green, honestly. Because you have the background, the tcat cells, and so on...

Naaa, the green is ok, but now the red banner is a pain, too big. However a good trial.

Nice job Dean, not sure how I missed this one heh. I tried my hand at a Christmas theme though it didn't turn out too well.

Hey Dean C, I really like the style you made...I would definetly use it on one of my sites =) Maybe some ideas you could incorporate into buttons Snowflakes, candy canes, ordaments.
