I am running vb 2.3.0 and I want to upgrade to vb 3. Also I am moving to a new server and wondering what would be the best method of doing this.
Do I need to install vb2 on the new server first? then run the vb3 upgrade. I have room for a test site on my sever now. So I am thinking I could install vb 2 there and restore my data base and do the vb3 upgrade on the testsite. Then on my new server do the full install and restore the testsite database to the new server. This way I can get vb3 looking the way I want it first and that would be less down time and ensures me I will not mess up my database.
Hope I didn't confuse anyone and thanks for your help!
