    Images not showing up

    Hello!

I have recently moved my web site domain name from http://www.hamptonroadstech.com to http://www.businesshelpcentral.com. I searched for articles talking about changing the Domain Name and followed the instructions provided. The posting used are:

    Posting 114916

    Posting 108950

Even though, everything seemed to go well, I realized that most of the images related to the forum itself are not showing up. I have confirmed that indeed, the images are looking at the right location by viewing the web site in the browser, clicking on them and checking at the path shown. Can any one tell me what have a missed?

You never clarified this. Did you simply change the domain name or did you move servers or locations on this server?

Simply changed the Domain Name by changing the web server configuration to read the new Domain Name but using the same directory structure that I was using before. No server or IP move was done.

Check the image paths under the edit style part. They should be relative paths but you can put in absolute paths with URL's which is the most likely case.

Actually, upon looking further on the image problem, I have realized that somewhere it kept the old domain name because if I right click on the image that is not showing in the browser and I click on properties, the path that shows is the old domain name. I have done a search in templates and I am not able to find anything for the old domain name.
