Why do I all of a sudden get a database error when I try to access my forums? I never changed anything in my setup?

The error is indicating that, vBulletin cannot connect to MySQL, for one or more reasons, ensure that the details in config.php are correct, if they are contact your host as MySQL is down.Comment

As Zack said this means that either the info in your config.php file is wrong, or there is a problem with the server. If you are sure config is correct then you need to contact your host.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
