READ FIRST!: This style was not developed, nor made for vBulletin 3.5.x and should not be used in said enviroment.
vBulletin 3 Classic:
As of late I have noticed a demand for the same modifications, mostly a more vB2 styled look to the vBulletin 3. What I have done is taken the original vBulletin 2 style that was provided for vBulletin 3, by the Devs and have modified it to look and act a lot more like vBulletin 2.
To get the full effect you must enable legacy postbit, or copy the postbit_legacy template into the postbit template
Most noticeable Differences:
Old Styled Forumhome
-Last post on the far right
-Tables are not separated at all
Header / Navbar
-Header contains the old vB2 buttons for links instead of the navbar, however they still use JS.
-Old logo with background
-Stripped down navbar
Forumdisplay
-Thread Starter has its own column again
-Last post is again on the far right
Postbit_legacy
-Different things moved around into their old positions
-Ability to add more buttons below the post (like vB2)
-All posts are connected instead of having a space between them
Showthread
-Newthread button returns (top and bottom)
Development - If there is enough response
-Old vB2 profile
Instructions
1. Upload the images_classic folder to to your forum directory
2. AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Download / Upload Styles
3. Import Style XML File > Click on Browse and find where you unziped the .xml file for the style
4. Check the following
