Reputation altering is off

I had someone test this. He currently has an altering power of 36, but when he gave me negative rep (as a test) it only took off 18 points of rep from me.

What gives on that, I notice it's half?

That is the correct opperation, you should only give half your reputation power when its negitive.

If someone has an altering power of 36.

Giving out positive rep, they give 36 points.

Giving out negative rep, they give out 18 points.
