    Avatar cannot be added.

    "Your Current Avatar
    [empty avatar field]
    No Avatar Specified
Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
    Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it."

This shows when a new user wants to add an avatar at User CP > Edit Avatar

    How can I change that?

More odd stuff: profile picture won't show.

Current profile picture can be uploaded but doesn't show.

Which version are you running? Have you installed any hacks (including portals) or added any code to the headinclude, header or phpinclude templates?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

        yes, changed header

        Running 3.0.1
Installed vBindex but deinstalled a few days ago.
Yeah, I replaced the entire header.php with my own header code and removed some of the navigation template content.

It very much sounds like I should not be missing a particular line of code in the header. Is there an obvious solution to this?

Try this. Create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?
