    vB.org - What a loop

Something major wrong with their password retreival...
Tried to log-on today, says "wrong password, enter email addy"|
I get the message, says "go here to reset password". Sends me right back to the "wrong password, enter email addy" screen. Seems to be stuck in a loop.

Of course, because I'm not logged in, I can't email any of the mods or FireFly. Ugg... I need my daily fix!

I believe they are moving the forums today. There's likely to be a few bugs that need working out. I logged in fine, but I did need to relogin since they have changed the IP address.

vB.org is changing servers. You may find logging in a hassle since the cookie domain will not be the same until the DNS propagates properly - at the moment we are using an IP address.

The login on the portal page and on permission denied pages do not work. To login, use the one at the bottom of the main forums page.

Yes we just moved vbulletin.org to a new very powerful server today, but there may be a few "quirks" while we are using the IP address until the new DNS changes take effect (should be a few days).

            Sounds very "powerful". Any specs?

For you, sure! It's a dual 1.4GHz P-III Tullian (5600 bogomips) 512 full L2 cache, with 3GB of RAM and RAID-5 3x36GB Seagate SCSI drives... also includes off-server tape backup as well.

The administration should make an announcement at vB.org about it.
It takes only 10 seconds to make a post. I guess...
