    [Release] Suped up Annoucement Template

    You know what? I'm feeling good today. Here is my template code for a cool looking anoucement. Just put this ALL in your forumdisplay_annoucement template:

    Code:
        <tr>
    <td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}" height="21" colspan="8" align="center">
          <hr><normalfont><dev align="center"><font face="Verdana" color="ffff00">Announcement: <a href="announcement.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&forumid=$foruminfo[forumid]">$announcement[title]</a>
          </font><font face="Verdana">
          - <a href="member.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=getinfo&userid=$announcement[userid]" target="_blank">$announcement[username]</a></font></normalfont><hr></dev></normalfont>
     </td>
        </tr>
    here is a picture of it:

        i've had something similar up and running on my forums for a while now,
        except without the hr lines. but yeah, it does look quite effective!

        good on you for posting this.

          What I was hoping for was an announcement in its own box, at the top of everything. Not attached to the index thingy.

              I don't understand where to put this- do you replace the whole template with this or what? Thanks

                Yes, you just replace the forumdisplay_annoucement template with the code above.
