    No One Can Register

They all fill out the form and are told the two passwords don't match.
    Even when they do. Help

    Passwords

    Hey deanger,

First off can you register new users in the admin section or do you get the same errors?

Have you edit any of the code in register.php, have a look at line 262 it should read
    if ($password!=$passwordconfirm) {...

This is basicly telling if they aren't the same display the error

Another thing you could try is try to create the account type in the password then copy it and paste in into the password confrim box.

If this helps let me know if not we can try something else

So bizarre - someone joined but no one else

And I'll check that code, but that is what I saw...

      Thanks for all the support!

        Now I'm going nuts

        So someone joined no problem.

I myself CAN ONLY LOG IN from the Control Panel. If I go to my site and try to log in there I get a no recognize.

I also can't join as a different memeber

        What can be done?

          1. What version of vB are you running?
          2. Is this a clean install or did you upgrade from a previous version?
          3. What's the URL to your forums?
          4. Have you installed any hacks?

            Info

            Clean install of 2.24

Works with NETSCAPE 4.72 I just tried it
            Doesn't work with IE 5.1
In fact, with IE you can't even log in IF you are a member!

Please do not double-post. Post this info to the other thread you started so we have just one thread to keep track of. Thank you.
